My daughter got the call a week ago Thursday, the 3rd of May. She accepted. Previously accepted at Johns Hopkins for Nuero Science.</p>

<p>Read earlier posts in this thread and you’ll see some were taken off the list, but probably won’t be more. Maybe some that accepted will decide not to come after all, but I imagine it’s a pretty long shot for anyone else to be taken.</p>

D was called by Bowdoin College yesterday, on May 2nd, and taken off wait list there, which seemed like a miracle since Bowdoin has not gone to its wait list in 2 years, according to the NYT report.
She had hoped Barnard would’ve called to take her off its wait list. She’s still hoping…

<p>@mountainmary this thread is a year old. Barnard’s wait list is pretty unlikely though, I think they only take less than 10% depending on the year… It’s more of “we like you, but we just won’t have space.” Take it as a compliment and if your daughter still wants to go, transfer.</p>
<p>Any movement on the 2017 waitlist? I sent in a letter of interest/updates, but quite late, on 5/8. Is that horrible, do I have no chance? I’m enrolled at Tulane now.</p>
