Hi guys! I was waitlisted at WUSTL, and as it is one of my top choices, I’d like to write an interest letter regarding why I am so eager to get off the waitlist and attend. However, I am not very sure where I am supposed to send it - the admission’s office? What’s the procedure? Furthermore, should I send it now or wait to hear from other colleges too? While WUSTL is one of my top choices, it’s not #1, yet I think it is more realistic than my other top picks (it is less well-known in my country hence probably not too many apps from the region). I’m an international (as you could probably tell) if that changes anything. Thanks!
You can just email to the admissions office. I’d wait, though. They don’t go to the waitlist until after May 1 when they know what their yield is. If you don’t get in or wait listed anywhere else, then they would become your first choice and you could say so.
In that case I’ll wait it out and see where I get in, then I’ll go from there. Thank you!
I would find out who your admission rep is. the admission reps have geographical areas but they are not on the admission website that i could see . you can call admissions and find out. I agree waiting till closer or directly after may1rst is better but email directly your regional rep.
I found my application processor in the Pathway portal. Much better than sending to admissions, thank you!
