<p>None. San Jac is extremely hard to get into .</p>

<p>I got a private room/bath in San Jac for the summer, but decided to switch out later for the price difference. Some kids might not realize what they’re getting into even though its much newer and nicer.</p>
<p>Chances are slim…but try anyways.</p>
<p>Although, I’ve been told any freshman wanting San Jac is SOL…thats just word of mouth lol</p>
<p>None. I put it as my first choice again this year and paid my $50 deposit mid-December 2008 my senior year and still didn’t get it. You’ll probably have a better chance at getting into one of the smaller dorms like BRP or Moore-Hill.</p>
<p>^ That sounds… wrong. There are going to be some freshmen living there this year, and there was no way they applied for housing before you. Are you sure you checked all the right boxes and didn’t have a preferred roommate that didn’t pick san jac?</p>
<p>Edit: Oh, you’re in duren? Well that’s why. They rank that dorm as being better. The location is horrible for people like me (except on weekends) but other than that it is “nicer”.</p>
<p>Are there still any chance for me of getting in to Duren or like one of those renovated Jester floors? Im in Jester West 5th floor. Is that area renovated by any chance?</p>
<p>East has the renovations, if I remember correctly.</p>
<p>And Duren is just as hard, if not harder, than San jac to get into.</p>
<p>Oh well, definitely gonna get in to San Jac or Duren next year heck yes. I did request a reassignment while I’m at it. My top 5 choices in order were San Jac, Duren, Roberts, Jester, and Moore-Hill. I would at least want a renovated room in Jester East like I had during the orientation. :/</p>
<p>I put San Jac as 1 and Duren as 2 both years. I did random roommate this year. And yeah I’m excited about Duren but now all my classes are in Jester and UTC :P</p>

<p>Haven’t heard of ANYONE who got in except via supplemental housing if they didn’t fill out the housing app during the fall semester of senior year. That, or they had a roommate who did and got better preference because of it.</p>
<p>My son got into San Jac as a freshman…sent in housing $$ in October and no specified roommate…</p>
