you take one course that is required for everyone in the program to take and then based on your intended major, they will choose the other course for you (so TWO courses to take in total).
no, we have not register for courses yet; they will give you your schedule when we attend the orientation! our courses start on june 22nd i believe as well
i don’t remember much but it said that they’ll offer you a certain term (summer, fall, spring, etc.) and you have the option to accept or deny it. then when you accept, the display message will say congratulations and to pay your enrollment deposit!
congratulations on your acceptance! wishing you the best! also, yes, you have to wait a few days for the deposit to go through in order to register for orientation. for me, it took one day to process even though it said it will take 3-4 days so just make sure to keep on checking when you have to register!
Hi guys! I expedited my decision yesterday and I got accepted into the Summer Term at UCF! But I’m not necessarily sure what that means? The acceptance says that I can begin my education at UCF during the summer term rather than the fall. Does this still mean I am admitted for the fall term? Thank you!
congratulations! i think yes, you are attending summer and admitted into the fall (i think that’s what most summer term kids mean by when they “start early” so that they know how things work in the fall).
**Summer enrollment means you take ONE online course and then you are in for the Fall. ** You can take more if you want, but only one is required, except for Access students who take two.
New acceptees will receive a barrage of emails that will spell everything out. You will also see all necessary things on your To Do List and Holds on the online portal.
The first thing is to submit your enrollment deposit ($200). Then you’ll get a checklist of all the stuff you have to submit. The most important items are housing requests ($250 deposit), orientation ($45 for students, $25 for parents), immunization record, and required math placement test.
BTW, the parents orientation looks pretty good, and I’d recommend it for your parents.
Student orientation is seven online modules. You will have an Orientation Hold until you complete orientation and actually register for classes.
The final orientation step will be an online meeting with your advisor, at which time you will register for both Summer B and Fall.
If you’re in some special program like Access or Lead, things may be different – but that’s the game plan for regular summer enrollment students.
should i just go ahead and register for the june 17th-18th orientation then? i just wanna make sure i have everything ready by then, it seems so close to the start of summer B
