chanman, i tout you were taking a year off to clean off ur image or somethin. change of plans? you still transfering to whaaarton or wat?

Wharton is an option for next year. Yea i am going to take a year off and go to Exeter. I hope this movie will help. I thought Cornell was going to their waitlist, but I guess not. So here I come Exeter.

Hi everyone, I occasionally browse through this board just for something to do. I graduated from Cornell last year and wanted to let everyone know that it's a great place to go to school.

But I also wanted to let everyone know that college is really what you make of it. I know tons of people who ended up disliking their experiences at Cornell. Looking back a few years ago to when I was incredibly anxious about college acceptances and rejections, I remember many of my friends from high school being rejected from their top choice schools. Today, they are all highly successful, much more so than I am- honest!

So if you weren't accepted at Cornell, please take comfort in knowing that it really isn't the be-all and end-all of universities. It's a cool place to go to school, but it certainly isn't the only one. College admissions are insanely subjective and can be entirely unfair, particularly when the pools get ultra-competitive. If you're intelligent, and driven you'll be successful no matter where you go to college, and it will be Cornell's loss.

so... CALS.... did anyone call to see if they are no longer pulling from the wait list?

i called the human ecology admissions office earlier this week on monday (5/15). they said the head admissions office hasn't told them anything and they probably won't know until late may/early june, aka they have no clue.

smilefriend, CALS isnt using the waitlist

got my CAS letter in the mail today.

but we all knew what it would say anyway.

i got my CAS letter yesterday, as you all know they have no room. aell there's always tranfer admissions...

dd was waitlisted for CAS and got a gt letter yesterday

Got letter from Engineering, not accepted

i called ecology, they have no clue yet if ther using it

kinda frustrating, because my dad wants to start sending in tuition payments, all the housing bills etc to my other school, but i still want to hear from cornell

My rejection letter still hasn't arrived yet . ..

Congrats kmh! I hope she is thrilled! She will be part of the class of 2010!!!! (One year GT?)

letters for human ecology have been sent out.

wat about ones from cals. i know they ain using the waiting list. do i still get a rejection letter or maybe GT????

Anyone from CAS who hasn't received a waitlist decision yet?
