<p>*Sigh, so I just got my decision today (from AK) and got waitlisted for Pomona. I got waitlisted for CMC also...I'd really prefer just to get rejected, so I don't have to give anything a second thought. I guess its nice that I'm not rejected completely, but still, kinda sad because its my first choice. Any company?</p>

<p>Also, anyone know how many are on the waitlist this year, and how many usually get off? Oh, and good luck to all of you who are also on the waitlist.</p>

33 ACT
3.8 (UW), 3.98 (W)
Rank: Top 3% in class of 400

<p>Yep, my son was waitlisted too, and is quite disappointed. I think Pomona's been at the top of his list (alongside USC film school, to which he was admitted). 1600/2350 SAT, GPA that didn't impress, apparently. His "for fun" essay was brilliant, so I'm shocked they didn't admit him :)</p>

<p>Oh dear, I probably got waitlisted, too. Or rejected, since I haven't heard yet. Hang in there! I'm sure you have plenty of other awesome options, too.</p>
