<p>Here’s the email I got back after asking about the glitch:</p>
<p>"Hello Chris, </p>
<p>No it was not correct. A admissions decision has not been made for students who are on the wait list. Decisions will be made and released around May 15th."</p>
<p>So I’m just assuming that none of the decisions that were released yesterday were actually correct and that we should just keep waiting.</p>
<p>I also called the admissions office and the man that answered apologized a lot about it. At first, after I had heard it was a glitch, I thought they might have just released the decisions earlier than they wanted but based on the email that I received, it seems that’s not the case. I also don’t think it’d be very rational to take back actual decisions after they were released; they shouldn’t make us wait longer than necessary.</p>
<p>Thanks CT. That sounds like maybe it wasn’t necessarily the decision then. I agree, why would they take it back if it slipped out a little earlier than they wanted. But then again, you never know. The concern I have is Toyota who got an acceptance, not a rejection. Wonder if that was a glitch too. Weird. Three other kids at my school are on the UT waitlist and they got the same rejection status which has been changed back.<br>

<p>I know one other person who got a rejection and another person who got an acceptance from ut waitlist. I verified w/ admissions that it was a glich. I already dropped UT yesterdayy. UT doesn’t matter for me since I am going to A&M. Good luck everyone! Hope y’all get in! :)</p>

<p>I really hope so, I want to get this over with. I really can’t take another disappointment like the other day when they had the “glitch”.</p>
<p>From what I saw on the threads last year and the year before, it looks like UT released most of the results the night before the deadline - around 6 pm (after the office closes). So, maybe it will be tonight. Or tomorrow night. I just don’t think it will be during the day. But I’ve been wrong before. LOL<br>
This is awful!!! It will really suck to get a rejection after getting the glitch rejection. Hurry up UT.</p>

<p>I don’t think us not finding out today is a bad sign or anything. Just keep hoping for the best. Also, for your housing application statuses, does it say it’s canceled even if you already paid for it? Just making sure because that’s what mine says.</p>

<p>mine said it too but it changed when I hit the reactivate button. Must be a date thing. Or at least let’s hope. I figure they met today and are finalizing this for tomorrow release - probably late. Or since they didn’t absolutely commit to May 15 ------ who knows. AHHHHHHHHHH</p>
<p>Yeah, hoping it’s a date thing. I just clicked “reactivate application” and it was fine. I think they would have the decisions for sure by tomorrow. They’ve been pretty good about their deadlines so far. I wish us all luck tomorrow! I’m expecting the worse, but hoping for the best. I don’t want to be too disappointed if it doesn’t turn out in my favor.</p>
