Hey guys. I'm new to the forums so bear with me.

I was waitlisted from both Syracuse University and University of Delaware. I am going in undecided. My guidance counselor told me to pick which one I wanted to get into more and that she would call the school and talk to the admissions committee how if they accept me from the waitlist I will attend their school.

My question to you is, since these schools are both top choices, which school is easier to get accepted from the waitlist? In other words, which school accepts more students off of the waitlist? Which do i have a better shot at getting in?

Is there a website or something where I can view such information?

although the common data sets contains uniform info that allows you to compare info for various colleges, not all colleges make their common data sets easily available at their websites. i could not find syracuse's.

for what its worth, a couple of years ago, syracuse was overenrolled - ie more people accepted offers of admission than they had targeted - The Daily Orange
that was probably not a good year to be on the waiting list. ;)
but i don't know how that might have affected things since then.

thank you iamhere. i got waitlisted to udel also and that site made me feel a little better. but do you know how many people on placed on the waitlist to begin with? so I could compare it with how many people they offer acceptance to.
