<p>What's the difference between the select waitlist and the regular waitlist? Does it mark it very clearly?</p>
<p>My friend was waitlisted, and he is one of the smartest people I know. He's ranked 17/488, with a GPA somewhere around 96. The only negative piece of his application are his standardized test scores (~1200 SAT), but his grades should definitely make up for that, since he is in the most advanced courses my school offers. Doesn't make any sense. My school is very competitive btw. What is his fate?</p>

and am taking ap psych and ap english now. </p>
