Waitlisted

Just got the notification that I was waitlisted for clemson. Any ideas on how good my chances are of actually getting accepted? For reference I have an ACT score of 30, 3.99 UW GPA, and top 15% of class. If they reject me can I appeal or will it be too late assuming I won’t hear back until mid may?

Any input is appreciated thanks

I think it’ll be too late to appeal if you don’t get in. What major did you apply for?

Why not appeal right now?

I called the school regarding my son. 85% of in state students were in the top 10% of their class… the remaining were in the top 15%. If your GPA has improved, you can appeal. Anything you did such as mid year grades improving, then appeal. The top 15% is a really good place to be. Remember, alot of accepted students wont go, so you have a really good chance of moving past the waitlist. Good Luck.

You may want to check out the appeals tab on the admissions website. I am not sure you are eligible to appeal if you have been waitlisted. Best of luck!

You are right @lopeztlo7 . Waitlisted students may not appeal, only rejected and bridged students .

I applied for general engineering and biochemistry was my second option
