<p>Doesn't it look like the kids they waitlisted would have fit in their honors program? They probably filled that up fast and then accepted more average/match kids that would be most likely to attend. Don't colleges make a big deal about yield? I'm a junior that will be applying in fall and I was worrying about my stats(3.4, 650,680) and lack of AP's but it looks like I may fit right in from what they seem to be taking this year.</p>
<p>A couple of kids at my school were waitlisted, but they applied to the Pharmacy and Electrical Engineering programs, which are harder to get into/more popular. So maybe that plays a factor, also?</p>
<p>I applied by the priority deadline 12/15, and I only applied for the normal arts and sciences program</p>
<p>What did your friend that got waitlisted decide to do? Did she stay on the waitlist or decide to accept somewhere else?</p>
