I think this topic was on some other forum, but here it is at Brown: what do you waitlisters plan on doing? where will you give your deposit? are you sending any additional materials…anything else?

i'm right here with you--waitlisted...

my deposit-that i hope to lose-will be going to [drumroll...] wash u in st. louis.

oh, sorry. i forgot to tell you where i will send my deposit. i'm sending mine to a tiny school in central kentucky... it's like the 16th oldest college in the US, but i still dont wanna go there like i wanna go to brown. lucky for me, their deposit is 200, which is alot less than some schools. i was waitlisted at wustl, but i really love the school (not as much as brown, though). how much is their deposit?

an atrocious $450 (inc. $250 housing deposit--don't want to be left out on the street)... and i don't think i'll ever pray and work so hard to lose such a large sum of money.

until the end of may, i'll be dreaming of grad, cramming for ap exams, waiting, laughing...trying to be normal i guess.

I hope to lose my deposit to JHU. Unless I really like the "Bowdoin Experience" in which case I'll hope to lose my deposit there. Go Brown:)

I'm sending a follow-up letter to Brown. I'm hoping to lose my deposit to Berkeley. I wouldn't mind going at all, but my heart belongs to Brown.

I am also going to be at Wash U with Smile 05. I am sending in an additional letter, recommendation and having my GC contact the people. I am also trying frantically to get their unresponsive coaches to at least talk to me, oh well. If some magic happens and I get in then I don't honestly care about $450.
