<p>If i wanted to take class X, and i waitlist for it, i substitute in class Y (in corresponding time slots) in for the time being to wait for X to open up right? and then i would routinely drop class Y and pick up class X.</p>
<p>my only advice to you would probably be to go online to tritonlink</p>
<p>and go into the visual planner, and just make a couple back-up schedules and roll with those if you are unfortunate</p>
<p>Depends; will your backup option have seats open by the end of week 2? (check back using schedule of classes on tritonlink, but check winter/spring of last year only because that’s when they put in the new policy) Because if it will there’s no real harm in waitlisting for the class you want on the off chance they add more seats (even better would be to call and ask).</p>
