Wake Forest SAT Scores

I am applying to Wake Forest regular decision and am debating whether or not to send my SAT scores since it is a test optional school. It is one of my top choices so I want the best shot at getting in. My superscore is a 1320 (670 reading and writing, 650 math). Do you think I should send my scores? Would it help or hurt my application? (It might be worth mentioning that my GPA is a 3.94)

Wake Forest has a fun application to fill out–and it’s obvious that they are truly looking at the whole person. With such a great GPA–and if that includes rigorous courses,AP / Honors–you really don’t need that SAT score. My impression is that a strong SAT score will help a weaker GPA. In your case, that SAT score really doesn’t contribute to the whole picture. Good luck Imad726!

I agree. Statistically, it will be viewed weaker than your GPA. They really do value beautiful writing so spend quality time producing quality writing. Short answers can be tricky. You can still make them shine and tell your story.

I think a 1320 is low for Wake, especially for regular decision. If your gpa is unweighted and on a 4.0 scale that will look much stronger without scores assuming you took a rigorous course-load.
