This is pretty general information, let me know guys!

honestly, what is with this facination with Haas? People i know that are already at Cal cant even get in...

Does anyone know the acceptance rate for getting into Haas anyway? What is it like 90 out of 1300 applicants or something like that? totally obnoxious

I am asking for an honest opinion. I don't think I deserve such harsh treatment!

I got my internship through a lot of dedication and hardwork. I looked for an internship for awhile before I landed where I am working now.

96/1300 applicants....only 430 or so are credible.

I am looking for a second internship this summer and also will be founding a Finance and Marketing Club at my CC next semester. Looking forward to that!

Never hurts to start early. I have already sent out drafts for people to edit. I want to make sure everything is perfect by the time the day comes to turn in the application.

Just keeping looking everyday. When you find something that interests you, go at it will full force. Knowing a few people along the way won't hurt though. I'd suggest checking craigslist, your college's career center or employer websites such as Jobstar.com.

I go to DVC too, Although this is my last semester at DVC.
Your stats are impressive, but I don't think they stand out in the pool of
competitive applicants of HAAS. Also, your GPA seems little bit low.
I know five people who applied to HAAS and all of them
had 4.0 and similar ECs as yours but four of them were rejected.
So in order to be more competitive, you need to raise your GPA close to 4.0.
Also, the guy who got accepted to HAAS said his application essay
helped him a lot in the selection process of HAAS. So keep working on your application essay.

To sum up, your chances of getting into HAAS is not so high, but I am pretty sure you still have chances. So don't give up! Also, you should apply to UCLA's Biz econ because you have high chances of getting in there.
I hope this will help you a lot.

4.0 is not necessary for acceptance. I think the essay is the decision maker. Do you mind linking me with your friend that got into Haas? Can you pm me his email or contact. Thanks!

a 4.0 may not be necessary but lets be honest it doesnt hurt. 96 out of 1300? good luck my friend. if worse comes to worst maybe you can donate a building or something...ive heard that works
