Was put on Waitlist

I’m an OOS Asian American Female living in CA with an overall GPA of 3.65(Weighted: 3.87) as of now.
My SAT score is 520 for each subject and 9 on the essay.
Classes I’m taking currently are: Electronic Media Production, AP Calc AB, American Political System/Government, AP Computer Science, and AP English Literature and Composition.
My grades for each class CURRENTLY is: A-, C+, B+, A, and A+.
My grades for each class LAST SEMESTER were: A+, C+, B+, A+, and B+
I plan on taking the AP Exam for the AP English Literature and Composition.

Should I take the chance to respond to the waitlist? UW is my top choice, but I’m worried about the response time(May 15 to August 1). I was accepted to all the CSUs I applied for; SFSU, Chico, and SJSU.

It is up to you, but I’m not sure if they accept as many OOS as they do in-state off the waitlist. Plus, although your GPA looks alright, I think your SAT might be too low to get off the waitlist. If it isn’t a lot of work to apply to the waitlist, then I’d say go ahead and do it, but if not, I’d suggest picking a CSU (I have heard that many people love SFSU!)
