Was wondering...

When is a good time to take the gmat? ...and is it easy to do an internships while in college and with no transport?

Also, I've been meaning to ask for an opinion. How does financial management compare to other fields such as Ibanking?

Your original question is vague and I barely understand it.

As a freshman finance undergrad,

When do people usually take their GMAT?

and...

How difficult will it be to work an internship considering a need for college activities and no car?

The last question is probably vague, but I have to plant the stake somewhere .

Well, most people get work experience before going to get their MBA, so you won't be worrying about that for a while. Probably when you start thinking about going back to school is when you will want to take the GMAT. Before you actually start applying to schools. It won't hurt to start preparing for it later on in college. You probably have advisor at your school who can answer that question well for you.

The internship really depends. Is your college in an urban area with lots of public transportation? Is the internship site close to school? There really is no correct answer for that question. Have you considered a summer internship?

The last question I really can't answer.

Thats a tough 1, I'd say take the GMAT right after your SAT, as studying will be much the same. However, the ETS is greedy and only keeps results for 5 years. So, I'd say start studying about a year before you go back. that'll give you time to study, take the test and retake it if you need to.
