hello, iam a high school senior and just curious about the GMAT. I know to get into a good grad school work experience is a must. So anyways my question is... when do you take the GMAT? during ur junior/ senior year undergrad? or say a few yrs later, just before u apply to a grad school? I hear many top tier grad schools require about 4-7 yrs work experience, so i just want to understand when to study for this test. hoping u guys can let me know if i should began studying say my soph year.. or after iam working and ready to apply to a grad school.

GMAT results are only good or 2 or 3 years. I probably wouldn't take the test until you know when you're going to apply. I took mine a year before I went back to school.

And your 4-7 years of work experience is a little off. It's probably more like 3-5.

thanks for the help alicantekid
