Im going into senior year of high school and may apply early decision to Wash U. I currently have a 3.8 and am taking the most AP's possible for my school. Unfortunately my ACT is a 31 composite with the math and english being the top two by a good amount. I know Wash U. superscores the ACT and was wondering if I should take it again this year before applications are due in november.

I don’t think you need to–it looks about in the right range for WashU. But if you do take it again, and you score better you will have a leg over the competition.

It can’t hurt,

I think you should take it again. Not sure of your complete resume however the combination of the 3.8 and 31 don’t standout for Wash U applicants. I think you need to get your ACT score up to 33-34. Another option would be to take the SAT.

Good luck
