Washington University in St. Louis Waitlist ('22)

If you want to get off the waitlist just keep stacking your resume and constantly update admissions with your accolades. Also, I think first notifications of waitlist acceptances are a week before May 1, if there are any spots left that is. Some years nobody on the waitlist gets admitted, so cross your fingers and hope that is not your year!

@michellel777 Everything you said is completely false. Colleges don’t reject people just for stats – they do so because there are so many other applicants that have the same stats and colleges are simply unable to accept everybody. Just because your friend has a perfect GPA and ACT score doesn’t mean he/she will automatically get into any college they want – there is a reason why there is something called a “HOLISTIC” approach.

Also, you mentioned it’s in the middle of nowhere and not safe. Really? Have you visited the college or did you just hear rumors? Just because you were rejected doesn’t give you the right to fabricate information to other truth-seeking people.

@Lowkeymeow – Thank you for your comment above re: @michellel777. Spreading falsehoods does no one any good. Best of luck to you all.

Has anyone heard back yet?

no not yet. I was just about to ask that… Does anyone know how many people they waitlisted this year? I heard a rumor that they cut back the number of students they waitlisted somewhat this year but I am not sure if that is true. Does anyone know about that?

@Michelle777 Wash U is in the middle of nowhere? Obviously you have never visited St. Louis.

Ignore the angry posts everybody. The poster got into Middlebury and no idea why she’s ranting.

If you are accepted off the waitlist and are sure you want to attend, go ahead and take the spot.

From St Louis and we are not in the middle of nowhere

Whats funny is that Middlebury is the definition of in the middle of nowhere… Great school that she should be proud of rather than ranting about WashU… Time to move on

Does anyone think they’ll let us know next week?

Anyone think washu is still accepting people off the waitlist?

Has anyone heard back yet?
