<p>Has anyone on the waitlist heard/recived phone calss etc ?</p>

<p>This thread states that others have posted they were called from the waitlist by Wash U.</p>

<p>so have people been taken off the wait list yet? I’ve heard conflicting information</p>

<p>Wash U was removed from the link I listed above because the one or two “acceptances” off the waitlist posted on CC were anecdotal (friend of a friend). Son is on waitlist and emailed his admissions counselor, asking if they’ll be going to the waitlist. So far, no answer yet.</p>

<p>Here’s the official response today from son’s Wash U admission contact:</p>

<p>“As of right now, we are still accessing the information we’ve heard from our admitted students. I can tell you that our freshman class is looking full but we are still taking time to fully access the waitlist.”</p>

<p>As previously posted, freshman class sounds full, but there may be a remote chance for one or two lucky waitlist candidates.</p>

<p>My Pathway reads the following message: </p>

<p>"Due to the number of students accepting our offer of admission, we are unable to offer any additional places in the freshman class from our wait list. Thank you for considering Washington University and for your patience with us through this process. We send you our very best wishes for success during your first year of study at your chosen institution. "</p>

<p>Parent volunteer here, just received this email dated 5/16/2012 which says:</p>

<p>"Wait List Update</p>

<p>With a freshman class that was very full by the beginning of May, waitlisted students were notified recently that no additional students can be admitted to the fall 2012 freshman class."</p>
