Can anyone suggest a place that delivers water and groceries? I had used Amazon Prime for several orders so I tried Amazon Prime Pantry for the groceries. It took 10 days before my DD received her box! I was sending her water and some soups because she was not feeling well. By the time she received the box she forgot that she had been sick! What have others done about water in the dorm room?

My son ONLY drinks water (sometimes milk or oj) so I just got him a Brita pitcher. THere is no way I’d be able to keep up delivering water with how fast he consumes it. And I know it would be difficult to go out and buy cases at a time without a car.

That’s a good idea-- I’ll look into it. Did you get it small enough that it fits in the frig?

Yes, I got one of the slim ones. It fits on the door.

Thanks

There is also Kentwood that delivers water to the dorms if the Brita doesn’t quench their thirst. Tulane students receive a discount so be sure to mention that if you decide to set that up. I believe they will do either the 5 gallon bottles with cooler or just bottles.

Thanks for that info, didn’t know that!

Will look into that, thanks kreativekat!

If you go to the Tulane website and search for Kentwood Water Delivery, it will link you right up. They actually have people on campus sometime during move-in or the first week of school, but I know my son and his roommates signed up later than that last year.
