bottled water

We received a brochure for water delivery and laundry service. My husband called and was told that this particular service was cancelled. Sparkletts delivery was recommended. Does anyone know if bottled water is available on the meal plan in the dining rooms? Is it easy to get Sparkletts water delivery?
Do you anticipate someone from Sparkletts at USC on Aug. 20 to sign up for water delivery? Your advice please.

I knew alot of people who got the sparklettes delivery, they usually delivered it right up to the suite.
There is no bottled water on the meal plan in the dining room, but you can use your dining dollars they're 1.50 each....dasani.
You can always get those sturdy plastic refillable water bottled and fill it with water in the dining hall throughout the day...that's what I did to save from using so many water bottles.

A Brita water filter pitcher and a PCB free nalgene bottle or two in the room should eliminate the need for cases of bottled water. Better for the earth, too.

LA tap water is great. Comes straight out of the Sierras to your faucet. Not like tap water in a lot of places that has been used and reused a dozen times before it gets to you.

get a sigg, nalgene, or klean kanteen. They're much more cost effective, better for the environment, and don't put chemicals into your body from the plastic.

I would not recommend the Sparkletts service. My daughter signed up last year at move in day, living in Pardee, and she and friends had a lot of delivery mixups and billing errors that took forever to straighten out. One time she was supposed to be billed $17 for two cases, her monthly order, and somehow we got billed $250 for someone else's order of five gallon jugs. Many calls and much aggravation to correct.
