You might want to plan on packing a new water bottle for your kid...i remember last year how absolutely funky the canteens/bottles were by the time PW rolled around.

what kind of water bottle? Does it need to fit on those belts?

you dont need one... any how you have to give them back right after indoc...

At Parent's Weekend last year, most of the folks had a nalgene type bottle for drinking water....and I brought a couple because of the fungus that seems to appear when it doesn't get washed for a few weeks ;)

what's a nalgene water bottle?

A nalgene bottle is a hard, indestructible, wide-mouth plastic water bottle. They make them in all colors with a plastic screw-on lid. You can get them at any store that carries camping or backpacking equipment.

Son told me once while talking to him on the phone that his water bottle was nasty so he sprayed Tilex in it, let it soak then proceeded to wash the thing with some of his manly man body wash on one of his dirty old socks. Icky :D

Lol, sounds like he didn't have to worry about anyone else using his bottle!
