I believe UT-Austin is the best accounting program in the nation. Leventhal is ranked #5 in the nation and is better than Stern.

But I'll say it like this..... Leventhal is 5 minutes from Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche, KPMG, and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Those firms, I swear, are on campus at least once a week (or at least it seems like it). You come out of Leventhal with a 3.0 or above and you're basically guaranteed at least a mid-tier job. You come out with a 3.2 or above and these firms will come and try to take you out to dinner.

Not sure how much better UT-Austin Profs teaches you accounting, but honestly I can't imagine a better situation for an accounting major than here at Leventhal.

But come ready because it'll be tough and competitive. Marshall is nice and friendly, but Leventhal is a lot more cutthroat.

"Leventhal is a lot more cutthroat"

Everyone's too scared of the honor policy. If you do go to Leventhal, concentrate on the finals as it pretty much is the curve.
