Way too early... but I'm curious! CHANCE PLEASE!

Uconn is a safety/low target
Northeastern and BU are probably targets… you should get in if you put effort into next year but nothing is set in stone.
I’m unfamiliar with the last school, sorry about that.

Lots of it depends on how well you do on your SATs.

thanks! I live in Connecticut, so i’m sure i’ll get in. And I know, I’m gonna work my butt off next year and try to get that 4.0 haha.

anyone else?

So I know that binghampton has gotten rather competitive, but, you seem fine. If you were to get a 4.0 and better SAT 2 your in. I dont know about the others though.

thank you! i’ll try my hardest.

btw, just keep in mind that my uw gpa as of right now including freshman and sophomore year is 3.2!

bump 10char

You look like you’re on the right track, but keep focused on junior year! Good luck!

thanks! BUMP

hmm. I think that the C in Bio kind of hurts you… but one bad grade here and there wont kill you. As for the SAT subject tests, I would definetly retake them as they aren’t too competitive. Maybe for chem u can wait until u take AP? It is really hard to tell without ur SAT scores. If I were u, I would start studying now. There is still time left in the summer! If you can pull a 2100+ish, ur set. Good luck! And applying ED should help :)

thank you raza! yes, i’ve started since the beginning of sophomore year, just taking practice tests for each section. hopefully, it’ll pay off!

If you get a 2000/31 I’d say you are set. The colleges you are looking at don’t require SAT IIs. But overall, it looks like you have a good shot!

thanks! i chanced you back.

BU/Uconn is really not that hard to get into with your scores from what I’ve seen, but I could be bias because I’m from MA. Anyways, your scores are good so if you decide that you have BU as a number one, I’d apply there early and seal the deal. Otherwise, you seem like a solid match for Uconn. Chance back please, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1184427-chance-me-stanford-etc.html#post12987422

Pre-med is NOT a major. It’s a curriculum with set courses with which you choose something to major in. So essentially, you take courses required for med school (which is “pre-med”) and you take courses required to fulfill your major. This is the reason why many pre-meds will choose a science related major (most of their requirements are fulfilled in the premed curriculum). However, you can literally major in anything you want as long as you complete the required courses for pre-med.

oh wow, i didn’t know that. i guess you learn something new everyday

you should have a decent chance for all. BU will be a little bit harder to get in though

thanks! also, do you think i’ll be able to get a small scholarship for uconn, depending on how junior year goes?

Haha, good ole Glastonbury

also, should i try to apply to gwu? or is that way too much of a reach for me?
