We are Bama bound this thursday!

Our family LOVES to eat, so never at a loss for recommending our favorites. Here are a few other choices:

DePalma’s excellent Italian - definitely try the specials
Cypress Inn catfish is terrific also wonderful view of the Black Warrior River
Five -unique concept with five appetizers, five entrees, etc - excellent food, service, wine
Chuck’s Fish - great sushi and shrimp and grits

As far as don’t miss attractions:

Paul “Bear” Bryant Museum is a must…

Have a wonderful time. RTR!!!

^^^I agree …DePalma’s is good.
Love 5…have eaten there twice and had adult beverages there as well.
Chuck’s Fish is a favorite…if you like fried green tomatoes there’s are wonderful. For sushi order the “scream’in O”…it’s not always on the menu so you have to ask for it…fabulous!!!
I do believe wonder Bread is an acquired taste :)…
I would also say go to the PBB museum…for a first timer I would do Walk of Champions and Elephant Stomp. Are any of y’all going to be there to tailgate? Maybe you could invite our NY friends!!! Tailgating on the Quad…wayyy fun :).
Am going to check with our NJ friend to see if he is there for this game. His tailgates are memorable to say the least…I might be able to hook the two up. Last tailgate we were at with him my DS had an encounter with Moonshine directly from North Carolina, served by a man named Boo and was drunk out of a Mason Jar…yeah it was an experience to say the least!!!
Safe travels!! Have fun!!!
