6 APs x 93 = yikes $558 for two weeks of testing.

On top of the other APs I have taken/will be (as a senior)

Makes college app fees seem like nothing

Does your school pay for them?

same. oh, collegeboard!

My daughter’s high school charges $87 per test.

We get to order whatever tests we wanna take, free of charge.

My school pays for them. The school board, rather.

That sucks, we only have to pay $90 per.

$57 apiece but if we get a 3 or higher they reimburse us.

almost there, that’s a great idea. Wish our district did that. We have to pay for each. I think $80 something per test.

83 dollars per test… Since I live in Puerto Rico, there are different AP Exams for both PR and the US… Even if you plan on studying in the US (like I do), you are obligated to pay for, and take, the test for PR. Six AP Exams for Puerto Rico and 6 Ap Exams for the US=$996, and I’m obligated to pay $498…sucks for me :)

we pay for them.

I think it was $89 last year per AP test. $750 for IB exams which the county paid half.

Although, if you do well like getting a 4 or 5 you can get out of many classes at college. You can even be admitted with sophmore standing, if you have enough of them.

We pay for them, but the most anyone takes is 5 and that’s quite rare

What?? my school charges a little over $100

Our’s is like $86 then if you take more than 2 the state pays $10 on every test

My S’s school charges $87 which we pay out of pocket.

@ momofthree - $750 per subject / test in IB? OMG, I hope I am misunderstanding! (Please reply by PM as I don’t visit this forum that often)

87 dollars per test. By the end of my high school career, I will have around $1700 invested in the things.

Wow! We have to pay nothing for ours! We can even request to take an AP test that we never took the class for, if we believe we can pass it! No repercussions if we don’t pass, though. :)

Ours is 86 or something. That reimburse if you get a 5 is a brilliant idea. It supposedly pays off in the end, cause 1 college credit is worth much more than 100$…

$90 per if you’re taking under 5 exams, and they’ll bump it down to $80 per if you’re taking more than 5.

We pay $87 per test, people can pay less if they receive free lunches at school.
