$87, but I pay $5 since I’m on a free-lunch program.

87 dollars per test at our school. We pay by ourselves.

Nothing. I live in Florida. I can’t imagine paying so much for all the ap tests since I’ve taken so many ap classes. I’m really glad that I don’t have to lay this extra burden onto my parents.

its free at my school because most people would not be able to afford it and it gets better.

My school is part of a grant where for any score over a 3 on an english, science, or math test you get PAID $100

We pay $87 per test, out of pocket. I think the district pays for about half if you qualify for free lunches.

why do you guys have to pay? every AP test at my school is free.

How many ap tests are taken at your schools if they’re free? My school takes about 1,000 ap exams a year…

My school charges $90 per but I think you can easily get a fee waiver

$57 for each exam but it’s about $20 more if you aren’t enrolled in the class.

at my school it’s $87 per exam and the only possible way to get a fee waiver is if you’re eligible for free lunches. (And maybe reduced lunch too…not sure since I’m not eligible for either.)

$87 per test, and you have to take the test if you’re in the AP class, even if you have absolutely no intention of using the credit in college. Stinks knowing I’ll be wasting money on 5 AP’s this year that I won’t be able to get credit for in college.

As most others have said, I paid $87 each test (I’m taking 7 this year and my sister is taking 1, so that’s $696!). If you’re enrolled in the AP class, it is mandatory to take the exam.

I go to a public school, and it’s free for everyone who takes the AP class (about 400 tests per year, but with an general score average of about 2.5)

^ you’re school shouldn’t pay for them if the average is so low. Paying for the test weeds out kids who don’t study saving the school money and increasing the AP average of your school (so it looks better).

We have to pay $87 per test, but we have a choice.

Everybody at my school pays $90, regardless of how many tests they’re taking or if they’re in the class or not. I think the refund is a wonderful idea! I go to a huge, public school, but we don’t get any reduced prices or free tests for our performance-- only those who are eligible for free/reduced lunch do.
