<p>Anyone know what the weather is going to be like? should i pack summer clothing or layered clothing?</p>

<p>Its Berkeley, so you never know. It will probably be sunny. Then again it will probably be rainy. But there could also be a wind storm. Who knows. I'd bring a sweatshirt (or better yet, buy a Cal one when you get here!) and also an umbrella, just in case.</p>
<p>In the morning, it can get a bit chilly. Typically, on a normal sunny Berkeley day (which Saturday is supposed to be), we like to wear a sweatshirt in the morning which we can take off around lunchtime, and keep off until sundown. It's been getting a bit windy as of late, however, so keep that in mind.</p>
<p>Ultimately, a sweatshirt should be fine, no need for an umbrella unless you got the space. Like conor said, just buy a Cal sweatshirt when you get here.</p>
<p>layered. especially if you are from socal. today, it was sunny (with a few clouds), but a wind did kick up. It wasn't particularly warm, but fairly moderate. last thursday was drizzly. last friday was gorgeous.</p>
<p>Early morning as well as evening/nights can be chilly and breezy.
If you plan to do any sightseeing in San Francisco definitely pack a jacket for evening/nights.</p>
<p>Otherwise, yuppie casual is probably fine for the Cal Campus.</p>
