for those who live in wisconsin or go to school there, do you find the freezing weather to be a problem?

I've never been there, but I live in Ohio which can get pretty darn cold at times. I suppose everyone adjusts to the weather, but if you live somewhere where you consider 50 degrees to be cold, you might have to adjust a little. Most NE/midwestern students will be pretty used to weather like that though. And since most students are wisconsians, they're really used to it.

yeah...im from maryland. its gets cold but not cold as in -10 degrees. if i go there i'll probably get used to it and it wont be that big of a deal. thank you!

Usually only a few days but be prepared--good down coat, HAT and gloves.

I'm a wisconsin resident so the weather doesn't bother me but right now we're looking at single digit highs for the next week or so. Walking to class in that weather isn't that fun. But you'll still be wearing shorts until the middle of October and the snow on the ground is gone by April.
