Yes, my s did. Very nice audition and experience!

My D had a great audition experience with them in Chicago.

Hello lovely people! I’m SOOO glad that everyone has had a beautiful experience with Webster! If any of your have ANY questions, please feel free to contact me!

Thanks! :)

39652310, sent you an private email.

The year my daughter auditioned(MT), she did receive an email shortly after auditioning at Wester at Chicago Unifieds in February. It was nearly the end of March of that year that she received her official acceptance to the MT major (the academic acceptance and academic merit funds came shortly after applying to Webster). There were 2 students at her former high school, who received emails last year and one who did not. Of those 3, one was accepted for BFA acting (no email), neither of the other 2 (MT) were accepted in the end.

This is what gets me crazy with this process. My D auditioned for Webster at Unifieds, they kept her in the room for about 20 minutes after to have her dance. The MT director wanted to be sure she also met the acting faculty, and the people there reacted very positively when they heard her GPA and ACT scores. They saw that she had done a commercial performance for a Broadway director who actually encouraged my D to apply to Wenster and circled that. At the end they told her she did a great audition and the MT director came out, met my wife and told her my D did great. All seemed very positive.

But now I see this stuff about Dean’s cards, emails, etc and I have no idea what to think. She came away very interested in Webster and thought they seemed interested as well, but now I’m confused since we’ve seen no email yet. What should we be thinking?

My suggestion is to think less :-). My D also auditioned for Webster (at Chicago Unifieds). It went well, but nothing special happened there or since. She was accepted academically many weeks ago. There are still on campus auditions at Webster in March, so it may be weeks before decisions are made. One never knows. We can only wait. Good luck to your daughter!

Sounds like your D and mine had similar experiences. I have an analytic mind which doesn’t match well with this process!

I have to quit over thinking all this. My D loved Webster and I hope things work out with them.

Just the feeling that they gave it their all and were happy with the audition is all anyone has. For now. This waiting B L O W S.
