The other aspects of my application are solid, and I think I had a great interview experience. However, upon review of my application, I think my Why Georgetown essay could have been more specific. I spent 3/4 of the essay talking about my academic interests and only 1/4 talking about Georgetown.
I know from the interview and from many threads that the level of interest in Georgetown plays a significant role. Would a mediocre Why Georgetown essay hurt my chances a lot?
Thanks!

Totally depends on your other stats. It’s hard to make a judgement A) without reading the essay, and B) without knowing your other stats in detail.

If you expressed at your interview about how you really want to go to Georgetown, I think you’ll be fine. But like eb9811 said, it depends.
