welcoming week

I'm an incoming freshmen, and i'll be commuting to campus (it's like.. 40 minutes away).
I know that welcoming week is not mandatory, but I thought i should at least attend on Monday and Tuesday.
Is there any sessions that are recommended for me to go to?
I'm a Business Admin major, btw.

Thank you

The first event is REQUIRED for everyone to go to, at least according to the [schedule for Monday](<a href=“http://search.dos.uci.edu/welcomeweek/calendar.php?day=monday"]schedule”>http://search.dos.uci.edu/welcomeweek/calendar.php?day=monday).

You know, I feel like it said it was required when I was a freshman too, but honestly there are so many students that nobody takes roll or anything, so imo I feel like there won’t be any consequences for not going. It’s always good going though, get some good info and meet other freshies.

i forget what day it is or the name… but there’s a day or two when all the clubs are around aldrich park, you should go that day. sorry i’m no help lol. someone will probably be more informative and tell you the name.

There’s this one event at the ARC, but its at night (8pm?) on the 20th. I heard it is a blast, but for commuters, I don’t know if you are willing to take the bus that late at night.

it also said SPOP was mandatory and I checked in got my classes scheduled and left the same day. lol! no one will pay attention, we’re in college now! i would still go though.
