I’m so glad I have block scheduling…All you suckers have to take every AP class at once and I get to spread them out evenly over the entire year. Makes my life 1000 times less stressful AND gives me way more time to do EC’s and Volunteer. Meanwhile you guys will be in your rooms doing five hours of homework a night.

^^^ Block scheduling is awesome. four classes a a time, halfway through the year you get new classes… makes life a lot easier. plus i have some really interesting classes lined up tis year. it shouldn’t be as bad as everyone makes it sound.

Just started junior year today…it’s going to be one longgg year :/

This year is going to be veeeeeery hard. 4 APs, 2 Honors classes, volunteering, SAT, sports, etc will be draining. I’m already tired lol, and I’m getting 5.5+ hours of sleep nightly. I already have like 5 hours a night :(

I’m going to apply to some Ivies, other private universities, and some state schools. Just a good mix I guess. Best wishes to everybody!!! :)

I absolutely am in love with my school’s block scheduling.
4 APs, don’t even remind be about standardized tests…
My dream school is Dartmouth, but outside that my scope is mostly smaller LACs.
Good luck guys, we can get through this.

I remember junior year… HAVE FUN!

4 AP’s… and this will be the first year my district doesn’t use the block system. Great…
Good luck to all of you this year!!

Meh, I’m not that scared about my course schedule. I took 3 AP’s as a sophomore and I did perfectly fine (4.0uw and 5’s on all). I’m more worried about my ECs, PSAT for nat’l merit, and SATs (maybe ACT, lol)

Oy. And it’s not even at it’s worst for me yet. I’ll be a musical theatre major, so fall and winter of my senior year will be when I’m be put through hell.

Don’t fret on ECs, remember its quality v. quantity (and typically quality will win).

PSAT is stupid. All you get from it is the national merit stuff.

SAT and ACT - you know as much as you’re going to for it, so all there is is practice. You can’t really learn anything new, so don’t worry about it.

I am so nervous, we haven’t started school yet but I’m taking the hardest schedule out of my whole grade and I don’t want to be swamped down with HW so I can’t do anything else.
Oh, and then of course there’s the PSAT (for real this time…), SAT, ACT. I am so worried!!! My dream school is Cornell and this is like the make it or break it year…

I know! There is so much pressure!:/

Wow I can’t believe we’re all ready juniors, seems like just yesterday I was a freshman. Before you know it guys we’ll all be in college and this stressful year will be over.

hey another socal’er! :D

Hahaha I started this (junior) year with bronchitis, is this a sign that this year will be amazing!? Lol

^Wow! I’m sorry:/ That’s a bummer:(

Hey, guess what? You guys will NEVER be sen10rs. You’ll just be plain old seniors.

2010 > 2011

;)

Haha, which means you will always be one year older. You guys will turn 50 before us! lol

HAHA, AWEOSME^^

We are the only sen10rs.

2010 rocks your class of 2011.

Anyway, the worst that can happen junior year is you fail the ACT (or SAT) and don’t get into any good colleges.
But I’m safe, so I don’t really care. Already took all of that stuff.

and we’ll graduate a year ahead of you. not to mention how we’ll lol at you guys this spring while we’re all in to college already and just have to finish with low B’s, and you’re painfully grinding away.
