well, class of 2011, the longest stretch is ahead of us.

Let’s hope we don’t fail the ACT then:/
^Very true, but hey, I have to find comfort somewhere, right?

Haha good luck class of 2011. I know how it feels to be a junior (I’m a proud 2010er). It sucks, but you will live through it. Study hard for those ACTs/SATs, rock your ECs (make sure your social for those leadership positions), get all As, take all of your fun APs, and then go to HYPSM = D.

I’m finding senior year a lot harder than junior year was.

Rtgrove, not everyone is going to want to go to a HYPSM school. I know I don’t want to.

Junior year=joke!

but at least you’re on the homestretch. granted, it’s uphill, uneven, and covered with broken glass, but it’s the homestretch!

True, but I actually really like my high school, so it’s a little bittersweet.

I’m planning on applying to NCSU, UNC, and UChicago if I don’t make QuestBridge. Looking for other schools but unfortunately I’m having a hard time finding first tier schools who aren’t uber-selective (UChicago is my big reach) which accept college credit earned in high school.

Have you(or anyone I suppose) been to any of the colleges you are considering?

I’ve visited Harvard, but only because my sister goes there.

O wow, I imagine that was nice:) Are you considering applying there? I’ve only been to UC Davis and UC Berkeley so far. Hopefully I will be able to go to UC Santa Barbara and UCLA soon:) If I decide to apply to the colleges on the east coast, I would only be able to see a few of them, seeing as how my parents don’t want to travel that far from California for a visit.

Yeah, the campus is beautiful! I haven’t been to Davis though. ):

Haha, you are not missing much(in my opinion). I wasn’t too fond of the campus, but Berkeley was definitely nice:)

Well sen10rs you may be graduating, but your not the smartest bunch, because clearly 2011>2010. Now if you don’t believe me whip out your calculator and do the math.

^Nice lol, I didn’t think of that:)

I’ve been to UNC and NCSU, but all I’ve done is visit people I know or go to meetings. I haven’t had a chance to really look at the campuses or do anything with admissions/tours.

Unfortunately I can’t visit any other college I’d like to consider because of the money required (see questbridge).
