Well, Its Time

Hello Everyone,
I did really horrible in high school (2.0 GPA); I got a bunch of F's and such. I did do fairly well on the ACT, so I still got into college. I have been attending DePaul University in Chicago, and I planned to go here for 2 years, and then transfer; but I've decided that after a year and a half, the time to leave is now. I have 30hrs completed and 12 more in progress. I have a 3.789 GPA, and had excellent recommendations submitted (I was on a first name basis with both the profs). I am also fairly good at writing essays, so those were okay. I applied to some schools for spring transfer.

I applied to:
Syracuse University (they didn't even want HS transcripts)
Purdue University - West Lafayette
University of Iowa
Loyola University Chicago
Indiana University Bloomington

How do you guys think this is gonna turn out. I'm just curious so I can get a better idea of what might happen, before I actually receive the letters. Oh, and I applied as a Psychology major.

Bump ... Why is it every time i post on here...no one replies

well... if you are on track with the courses towards ur major then you should be good.

You should be able to get into all or most of those schools, since your college GPA is high and you're applying as a junior transfer. If you wish, add more competitive schools to your list.

Btw, is it true that DePaul students think of Loyola students as rich, spoiled and snobby? generally, I prefer the vibe I get from DePaul students. They seem interesting.

Your college GPA is very good and will strongly outweigh your HS one. You're lookin good.

Ive never heard anyone talk about loyola students as being rich and snobby, but it wouldn't matter anyway because our girls are much hotter anyway.
