Slightly bitter that Wellesley is the only school on my list that has a January 15 deadline for the FAFSA and CSS Profile (I have absolutely NO time this month), but still, I adore Wellesley and hope I get in! And can I say just how much I love EE? :]

Also applied to Barnard, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, and Bryn Mawr.

kenzie1992- I requested an interview and called my interviewer to schedule one, and she said she’d get back to me… and she hasn’t yet, so I don’t know if I’l be doing one, haha. But good luck on yours! Are you nervous?
GarfieldGirl- Okay, good to know it’s great your so sure of yourself. And yes, three cheers to marama. : ) I’m so glad we have such supporting and helpful figures in the Wellesley forums.
Good luck on your exams!
missfem- Thanks. : ) Vassar was really last minute for me, but it was fun. They had a supplement where you could basically send in anything you wanted.
Hi marama! Ahaha, thanks. Trust me, even if I got in everywhere I’d still choose Wellesley. I really hope I can get to know your daughter better! I’m sure i was totally awkward on the phone but I’m glad you guys had fun. : P
girlcanDISCO- Ah, thanks for reminding me about those finaid forms!

shay33, same thing here. i was told to contact my interviewer and i did. she still hasn’t responded. how long should i wait before calling her or the regional representative?

referree- I really have no clue. I don’t want to be pushy, you know, especially since my interviewer said she would call back. (did you speak to yours or did she not pick up?) Mine didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic, though.
I think I’ll wait another day.

shay33 - i left a message and sent an e-mail. i’m not quite sure what to do. i think i’ll wait another week or so (maybe she’s on vacation??) before calling the regional representative. and if i can’t get through to anyone, then oh well. one of my teachers is a wellesley alumna and so she’s helped me throughout this process anyway.

Shay33/referee - I requested my interview in early December(off campus) and what happend to me was, my original interviewer(recommanded from Wellesley) said she can’t do an interview and she gave me another email address to contact about 2 weeks after I send her an email. So I emailed the new interviewer around Dec 16, and I heard back from the new interviewer on Jan 3rd. I worried aout it like you but if you wait, they will contact you.

Also, you don’t want your interviewers to write a review when she has a lot of work to do. And if you can get an interview, then you have to report to Wellesley about it. At least you tried to have an interview!! this will show them your interest in Wellesley!

btw, my interview was really great she was so nice!

hello! i’m from california, and i applied EE in late december. i also had an interview
wellesley is one of my top choices! i also applied to smith

ryanghee0223- thanks for the advice. : ) my interviewer just contacted me-- the interview’s on saturday. Now i’m nervous. hehe. What was your interview like? : )
cutepie93- Hi! I’m applying to Smith right now. The supplements are so short that I can’t write anything that will fit. XD
referee- the last date for EE interviews is the 15th i think, so you might want to contact your regional rep soon. Unless you’re doing RD!

Actually, the deadline for the EE interview was January 1st. I finished my application on December 30th and unfortunately failed to recognize this. I even emailed them to see if I could somehow squeeze my way into an interview, but, alas, I could not. Oh well. I had my Yale interview today, which frankly sucked. Oh well again. Wellesley is better. :)

oh aspheric! you are definitely NOT the only one bothered by this? i’m freaking out. i mean i just got done with apps, i have to take care of school stuff, and then BOOM one more thing to worry about. even the ivies are holding off for another two weeks…sigh…wait…i have a joke. ready for it? ready for it? here goes:

Wellesley wants this and that. Now we have to submit our financial aid stuff by THIS saturday. sigh women can be so demanding!

HAHAHHA. it’s not that funny. but i thought it would lighten the mood. sorry if i offended anyone.

Hi. I just wanted to mention that you can quickly fill in the CSS Profile by the deadline and then send in any questions, corrections or extra explanations to the Wellesley Fin Aid Office later. I did that.

As for the FAFSA, well, I guess you’ll just have to bite the bullet.

question: once i submit the FAFSA to wellesley, can i still make changes to my FAFSA form? other colleges don’t require FAFSA until feb 1 or so…just wondering: can you make changes to the form after submitting?

I talked with admissions and while the due date for FAFSA/CSS is this Saturday, they will still gladly accept them after the 15th along with additional information regarding finances. The due dates for FA are much more lenient.

I just got back from the interview. I don’t really know what to think. I feel like I was so awkward. Ah well.
There were no trick questions though, just the basic “tell me about yourself” type. The best advice I can give is to relax. : )
