Wellesley EARLY D class of 2019 hopefuls

Any class ed's want to chime in and panic together?

I wanted to start a Wellesley 2019 ED post about a week ago (hope someone gets the reference?) but my Firefox browser is outdated, so it wouldn’t let me start a new forum!
 Hello, fellow prospies~

Just as a conversation starter, what majors is everyone looking at? What dorms do you like best? What extra curriculars are you all interested in? #nosy #already scouting for potential friends

(For me, it’s Japanese Language / International Relations and Economics, Stone-D, and Kendo / WZLY 91.5 FM)

Hi! I’m applying ED from Minnesota.
I’m looking at economics (specifically Development Economics), Middle Eastern Studies, or IR. Who knows. I really, really love the Quint (Beebe, Pom, Munger, ect) as well as Severance/Tower. I want hardwood floors because of my horrific allergies…

As far orgs, I want to join Al-Muslimat, SAAFE, and some other stuff. There are so many to choose from!

I’m so nervous/excited. oh my. should this thread maybe be in Wellesley’s individual forum? Maybe more people would see it.

Have you guys visited? I did in April and fell in love. Kind of a “say yes to the dress” moment.

I visited in April, too – lunch with a student, tour, sat in a class… absolutely loved the campus, so beautiful… Unfortunately the only res hall I was able to see while I was there was Stone-D (but that’s the one I want to be in, so it worked out).

From what I can tell from my “research,” each dorm has a distinct personality (so awesome!). I hear that some rooms in McAfee have fireplaces in the dorm rooms, Tower is gothic and gorgeous, Bates is spacious and science-y, the Quint is near the sports center and is a bit more social, Dower is small but really close relationships develop there, and Stone-D has a late dining hall and a great view. Of course, there’s also the Lake House (kitchen, great views, and no res staff), but we can’t dorm there as first-years…

I’m an ED applicant too!
I’m interested in History and Women and Gender Studies. I’m so excited - I hope we get in!

UPDATE:
“Official” Wellesley College Class of 2019 ED Thread (posted under the ‘Wellesley College’ category) can be found here:

Thank you all for your comments, I hope to one day know you all better, and I hope we are all accepted and do great things~ we’re all outstanding, after all, and applying is, in and of itself, an accomplishment.
