Were we supposed to double space our essays -_-.....

I didn't...

i dont think that matters people...lol
laxfan'll prob laugh and tell us to "relax" if he read this

haha yea...she probably would....

btw...laxfan is a she...for some reason everything thinks that she's a guy. (ok...that sounded really wrong...but you know what I mean...)

really?
yea i did think she was a guy...yea. how do u know this avenger? we should rename u "he who knows random things about jhu"

"he who knows random things about jhu" knows this because a few other people have refered to her as him....and they were corrected by her...I imagine that it must be quite frustrating for her...

(I must admit that at one point, I also thought that laxfan was a he....)

"he who knows random things about jhu"...I think I can get used to that name...haha

I didnt double space either. I doubt it matters at all since they probably wont be editing our work.

yeah lax will prolly tell us to chill again tomorrow :P.... I wonder if she likes chocolate cake.... (maybe a way for her to take a peak at the acceptances a little early?) hahha jk... I would never dream of bribing someone in JHU admissions...

IT
DOESN'T
MATTER

Wow! The things you all come up with is crazy. Do you really think the adcoms will deny you if your essays are not double-spaced. Calm down - stop worrying about the most miniscule details. Go out and get some fresh air.

This might be the greatest thread in CC history!

hahahaha
you know what is really ditzy? i was looking at the sn "laxfan" and i was like err...lax? what's lax? LAX as in L.A. Airport? (i live near LA)...and then i was like...what if it's lacrosse, since jhu is known for lacrosse? but how does lacrosse turn into lax?
anyways, yes, i do suppose lacrosse --> lax....
this IS a great thread...btw i didn't double space, either! =D

hhahhaha, as I am from OC/LA area, I TOO thought of LAX airport when i first saw LAX....

then i realized some ppl call cross country "x-country" ....so i guess "x" is symbol for "Cross"

which made a LOT more sense to "lax" = "la-cross" = "LACROSSE!" yay!! =D

and I had originally formatted the essay as double spaced in my Word doc, then when i copy pasted, it became single spaced and non-tabbed in the online box ....so i don't think it matters =)

I've called lacrosse 'lax' since I was a little kid, I guess it's more common in the east coast. Never even heard of l.a. airport lol.

strange... i thought it was a play on the word "laxatives"

LOL. Lacrosse helps you....go?
Hahahahhaha
Well, after all, it IS exercise =D

What life must be like for you guys on the coasts.... I wish to leave this dreaded state of Arkansas and experience things such as this "lax" you speak of or this airport in L.A.

lol... actually I'm not that sheltered... but continuing geographical stereotypes is fun sometimes...

LOL yes...stereotypes.....

at least you Arkansawnians(sp?) get cool accents with ur stereotype!!

All the OC gets is "rich snobs," "tv!", "hott ppl", or "surfing!!!"....
None of which are THAT true....not rich, not really snobs, nothing like on tv, not many hott ppl (altho i'm sure there're a few if u search diligently), and not everyone surfs (only tried it once myself, but have bodyboarded).....no OC accent =/

hmm...haha, I had never seen those lax protector-cups-on-a-stick thingies til I went to hopkins!! The sport actually looks/sounds interesting to see/play! I shall make that my mission for college freshman yr....watch a LAX game =D...and maybe play a game with friends =)

I have lived in Arkansas for about 10 years... and I have yet to develop the accent... although sometimes it slips out where upon I immediately burn myself with a hot iron rod as punishment

Awww, you don't like the accent?

I think it'd be fun to pick up an accent =D

When I came to my interview I should of dressed up: boots, tight jeans with a big belt buckle, and a cowboy hat. And then I should've talked with a southern draw.... that'd be one vote for me for diversity I would imagine?

AHahahhahahahhaha

"Were you able to park your horse outside?"
:P
