i'm thinking about applying to Wharton (regular)
but uh...
If i get rejected from Wharton, do I still get considered in the college pool?

no it's either or

nope ;/ I wish that's how it was, because if i don't get into Wharton the College would still be my second choice...I wish Wharton wasn't so competitive.

what makes you think you could get into the college?

nothing, but i wouldn't mind at least being considered for the college, my stats are average for a wharton app and slightly above average for a college app so there's a decent chance, if i get rejected from wharton, that i could have been admitted into the college

not really, as if your application reads like a wharton app they would sniff you out as a backdoor applicant and reject you

what's the difference, like 11% vs 15% for Wh and SAS respectively? if you can't get into Wharton, odds are you can't get into SAS either. And considering how different they are, you should probably be looking at NYU Stern or something as your second choice, not a liberal arts school at Penn.

NYU was my second choice, until i visited. I dislike it so much from the visit i'm not even applying. Penn CAS would be my secod nchoice if that was possible, because i love economics equally as much as i want to do business, and my overally goal is to become a corporate lawyer of some sorts. Assuming that goal doesnt change i think i could succeed just as well at either CAS or Wharton
