why was it disbanded? that's odd...

lol Martha

and w1cked, so this asian kid just sits in a room by himself for meetings?

be-cause...

I really don't know.

I say that math club is in need of some advertising and image boosting. Calling it an honor society and offering a few incentives might help.
Now why was your chapter of MAΘ disbanded, Martha? That is not common to hear.

Idunno... maybe be-cause they didn't do a dang thing but sell booster badges and....

I really don't know.

Oh yeah!! At that induction we got a STICKER, a BADGE, and a MEMBERSHIP CARD!! w00t!!!

ida, just to stay in the math honor society lol...and no entrance exam...we just need to have a 95 weighted average in our math courses and we need to have completed at least algebra II. there are too many people in it though..

So I disagree that you should have completed Algebra II, and have a 95 weighted average in your math class. I know of one kid who barley has an A in Algebra II, but he got a 112 on the AMC 12, and a 7 on the AIME.

well, that would just mean he's too lazy to do his work in math. Maybe the honors society would give him some incentive...
