What Ap tests should I take Freshman year. I am currently a 8th grader but I want to start now.

First of all, does your school offer any AP classes for freshmen? If they do, take those classes and their corresponding exams.

Second, are you fluent in any languages other than English? There are AP exams offered for certain languages.

Finally, are you willing to self-study? If you are, buy a textbook and a review book corresponding to the exam that you want to take. I recommend self-studying the courses that are not offered at your school, especially if you are good at the subject of the course.

In my opinion, taking 1 or 2 AP classes at a time is not stressful if you learn the material well. If you plan to take 3 or more at a time though, you will need a good amount of energy and commitment in order to do well.

That all depends on what you’re good at. For example, if you’re amazing at science to the point you can take a college level course in 9th grade, then take AP Environmental or Biology (Environmental is said to be easier).

Most schools offer AP Human Geo to freshman which I think is a really good starting AP course and is pretty interesting.

Take care not to take more than you can handle and remember that it’s a College Level course and shouldn’t be taken lightly, at least while you’re a freshman.
