<p>I'm currently a freshman at UT Austin and I'm attempting to transfer to TAMU Civil Engineering for fall 2011. My GPA is over a 3.0 and I will have credit for advance calc and physics by the end of the spring 2011 semester. I was wondering what I could do to increase my chances of getting in or if you guys think I already have a good shot. I am a female, and since both A&M and engineering is known for their male populations, I was wondering if it that gives me an advantage to getting in?</p>
