I’m in the process of writing my essay but every time I write one, its kinda cringey, does anyone have personal tips about the essay? what did u write it about?
What is your recalculated gpa? So basically weighted but only include electives that are core or /AP/AICE/IB
Writing an essay can be a struggle when you’re putting all that pressure on yourself, but if you step back and think of writing as a known formula: thesis statement, topic sentences, points of evidence, etc. the process becomes easier.
CC posted a few helpful articles that might get you started. They are intended to guide students through essay-writing by mapping out that writing formula I mentioned. These articles were written based on my experience teaching at the college level and grading over 30,000 student papers (yes, I’ve counted!).
