What are my chances, and any suggestions?

SAT: Best single score - 2060 (CR-630,M-760,W-670)
Superscore- 2150 (CR-690,M-760,W-700)

Planning on taking SAT Subject Tests for Biology and Math 2 in October

EC’s : Member of 3 clubs. around 100 volunteer hours

By end of senior year I will have taken 7 AP courses.

I am a rising Senior planning on applying as a Biology major, and I was looking at :
CSU Long Beach, San Diego SU, UC Riverside, UC Santa Cruz, San Jose SU, possibly UC Davis, Ohio State University

I was hoping if someone could give me guidance on whether the listed schools would be viable choices. If anyone has any other new university suggestions based upon my statistics, I am willing to consider other choices if they are better options for me.

Calculate your CSU/UC GPA: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
Then calculate your Eligiblity index for the Cal states: (CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math + CR)

For SDSU, you want an EI of 4100+
For CSULB, you want an EI of 4000+
For SJSU, you want an EI of 3500+

UCR looks like a Match due to your strong SAT score. UCSC probably a High Match and UCD would be a Reach.
The Cal states look like Matches again due to your strong SAT score. You could add Cal Poly Pomona to the list as a Match school and UCI as a Reach. Outstanding essays and EC’s could give a bump for UC’s.

Good Luck.

I don’t know much about Ohio State so i will hold my opinion about your chances there.

I think your GPA is going to keep you out of Davis and probably Santa Cruz. UCR and UCM are more likely.

All the CSUs but CP SLO will, likely, admit you. CPP and Fullerton are worth a look.

As an aside, Long Beach recently switched to a modified CSU index for STEM applicants - as you might guess, it weighs your math SAT more heavily.

Good luck.
