What are my chances as an international student?

I applied to SDSU for biology and an alt of biochemistry, i have a highschool of gpa of 3.0 unweighted, but i have done IGCSE exams and gotten 4 As ( biology, physics, arabic, english literature) and 4 Bs ( math, computer science, english and chemistry ) as well as 1930/2400 in the sat or 1320/1600. I have very good school and 2 teacher recommendations and good ECs such as being a TA and head of a university team that aided students in applying. What are my chances? Thanks.

Pre-biology

Your test scores look good, GPA a little low. Do you know your weighted GPA? SDSU doesn’t look at Teacher Recs unless it is different for International Students. Do you require Financial Aid? If you are full pay, I would say you have a good chance for acceptance.

@Grumbymom i honestly dont know how much my weighted GPA is, but all my Grade 12 courses are AP, or Advanced. My grade 11 were courses like precalculus and AP english and such. No, i dont require Financial Aid, and i am paying full tuition + expenses + housing. If they do look at teacher recommendation, its by Two regional head of departments of my school (my school has 8 chains in the country i am currently residing in, which is UAE ).
I did the TOEFL iBT as well and got 117/120.

Senior year grades and classes are not figured into the weighted GPA only Soph and Junior year. Almost all Cal States use the Eligibility index to rank their applicants. Your CSU GPA x 800 + (SAT Math + SAT Crit reading). Above 4100 gives you a good chance. Like I stated previously, they may weigh International applicants differently. Good luck and I think you have a good chance
