I am a junior in high school and pretty much a B student. My GPA is currently a 3.1. My SAT score are 690 Reading and 600 Math. I have done a lot of extra-curricular activities including sports and drama. I would like to know if I could possibly get into USC. Also what other schools could I possibly get into that might have good programs for the movie industry? That's my passion. Thank you for all the help.

Some others to possibly check into are Syracuse, Ithaca (NY), Suny Purchase, Chapman (CA), Webster (St. Louis), Point Park (Pittsburgh), Emerson (Boston), Drexel (Phllly), Purdue, Hofstra (NY) and UNC Wilmington. I think that USC will be tougher. Best of luck!

Statistically you’re in a tough spot. That’s not to say you have no chance but poi does offer you a good start on a larger list.

USC is going to be very hard to get into. The students that get accepted generally have about a 3.7 GPA, higher or lower depending on which school they apply to. I would say apply, but find some nice safeties.
If you get accepted: CONGRATULATIONS!
If not: Steven Spielberg applied to USC and didn’t get accepted. Look how far he’s made it by going to CSU Long Beach!
