What are my chances Early Decision admission to UPenn?

I'm ranked 20 out of 500.
My GPA is a 5.38/6.0, roughly a 3.8 on a 4.0 scale.
My SAT score is a 2270: 740 math, 730 reading, 800 writing
My ACT score is a 33 (I plan on retaking this)
I'm taking subject tests in October, but I've gotten an 800 on my Math II.
I got a 220 on my PSAT, so I'm National Merit.

I'm in all IB courses, and did all pre-AP and AP classes up till my junior year (5's on all my AP tests.). I'm in NHS and NSHS, Photography club, Model United Nations, and Recycling club. I have an officer position in a volunteering club in my high school as well as being a project leader for an International Project at my high school.
I'm the features editor for my high school newspaper for the second year.
I'm the president of a Leo's Club (a smaller version of a Lion's club) in my community. I've also started a nonprofit organization to raise money, but it's still in the works. I have lots of volunteer hours through all four years of high school.
I've worked at academies for the last two summers. I'm going to have an internship this summer at a university.
I've done dance since I was five and won around five consecutive competitions (first and second place). I play the piano and violin and am giving lessons this summer.
My poetry was published in ninth grade, I've won several newspaper awards and academic achievements at school.

I really want to get into this school, and I plan to Early Decision it, but are there any other things I should possibly attempt to do to increase my chances? Just wanted to cover all possible bases :)

*also, I'm applying to the College of Arts and Sciences, not Wharton.

I think you have a decent shot, but that depends on how competitive your school is and how many ppl Penn usually accepts from your school

This year they accepted three people. I’m not entirely sure how many the usual number is, but my school’s pretty competitive, I’d say.

it’ll be a battle, but you can do it…and ED improves your chances typically

Not much stands out… too much like a typical Ivy applicant with possible exception of 1 thing.

all right, thank you !

You have a wonderful SAT score, but I’d try to bump it up a bit for the best chance possible.

Your EC’s seem scattered. I don’t see passion in any 1 or 2 areas.

Get your ACT to 34 or 35 and that would help you a lot. I don’t think that your ECs are scattered; they all seem kind of artistic. I think you have a pretty good shot at UPenn, especially if you ED. Good luck

Chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/953055-please-chance.html

Your stats are just about median for Penn, if you’re not from the mid Atlantic or state that sends Penn many applicants, that will help a lot.

I’m from Texas, so I’m not exactly sure where that stands statistically.

but thank you all for your help :)

(annoying revival, sorry)

1) Need stronger ECs
2) Find some similarities between your ECs so that they don’t seem so scattered
3) Make sure your “why Penn” essay is good
