What are my chances for ED?

Hi! I actually found out about this school in June from my brother who said it'd be the perfect fit for me (I don't know why I've never heard of this school before? Hmm) and I have to agree with him! I love it so much that I plan on applying ED (after I visit the campus and hopefully have an on-campus interview).

However, my standardized tests scores and AP scores really worry me. I'm afraid that having great ECs, essay, teacher recommendations, shown interest, etc. won't be enough. I am retaking the SAT and ACT this fall just in time for ED.

Here's my info (sorry it's long i tried to shorten it):

-SAT superscore: 2070 (CR: 620, hoping to bring up to 700 but likely it'll be 640ish; M: 720, might be able to get it to 750ish; WR: 730)
-Not submitting SAT IIs anywhere because they were in low-mid 600s
-ACT: 30 (E: 33; R: 31; M: 29--might be able to bring up; S: 26--probably will not be able to bring up; W: 9)
-UW GPA: 3.94 (All honors and APs; As except A- in bio h 9th grade, A- WHAP 10th grade, A- APUSH and eng lang 11th grade)

-W GPA: 4.53

Thanks in advance! And I know some of y'all get annoyed by these chances threads but I just REALLY love WashU and can't stop thinking about if I even have a chance lol.

Everything except standardized test scores look fine (AP aren’t fantastic obviously, but usually aren’t hugely important in admissions). If you can get to a 33 ACT or 2200 SAT, I feel like you’ve got a good shot at acceptance, especially ED.

You should also know that they super score the ACT as well. I agree that your test scores might be a little bit low, but I will also tell you that my son was accepted into the school (and attending in 2 weeks)with a highest composite score of 30 and a super score of 32. Interviewing on campus might also help demonstrate your interest in the school. And just like you, my son went to a private school in Florida. You can send me a pm if you want more information.

You have a good chance with ED. For demonstrating your interest in the school ED is it – nothing more can be shown to ad com than applying ED. You mean to tell WashU that you’re my first, last and only college I have ever loved with all my… parents’ pocketbook. Yes, last point is true. Make sure your parents can pay for it.
